it's MORE THAN

CUTE DOG drawings

My Barking Life is a creative advocacy platform that uses storytelling, doodles, and a little bit of humor to support dogs, educate people, and amplify the work of rescues.

what we do

authentic
STORYTELLING

Dogs are more than a moment in time or a quick label. We share their stories to help people slow down, look closer, and see the individual behind the bark. A good story builds empathy — and empathy changes outcomes.

ART & ILLUSTRATION

Sometimes a drawing says what words can’t. Through art and illustration, we spark conversations, spread awareness, and support animal welfare in meaningful ways. It’s art with a purpose — and a little personality.

ADVOCACY & EDUCATION

Doing right by dogs starts with understanding them. We share approachable, judgment-free education around safety, care, and responsible ownership to help dogs and people live better lives together.

HOME OF THE (BAD) PET

DOODLE

Get a delightful drawing of your pet enjoying their favorite coffee-inspired treat — from lattes and cookies, to beer and cocktails!

These fun, caffeine-fueled illustrations are completely free — all I ask is that you pay it forward somehow. Buy a bag of pet food for a struggling neighbor or offer to drive an elderly pet owner to the vet for their next appointment.

ADVOCACY matters

Dogs are often judged by a single moment instead of their whole story. When we slow down and look closer, understanding replaces assumptions — and better outcomes follow. Stories, art, and education help people see dogs more clearly, which makes life better for dogs and the humans who love them.
