At My Barking Life, it's not just about cute art and coffee-fueled dog doodles — it’s about making a difference for animals who need a little extra love.
That’s why I jumped at the chance to join the Board of Directors of Toby's Pack: K9 Rehab & Rehoming Center. Our mission is to rehabilitate at-risk dogs with moderate behavior issues and give them a second chance at life in a forever home.
If you’ve enjoyed my free doodles or just want to do something good, I invite you to make a donation, apply to be a foster, volunteer, or just share the posts of our work. We can be heroes — just for one dog.
meet the pack
Toby's Pack isn't just another rescue group or shelter for unwanted pets. We want to work with owners to proactively help dogs with debilitating anxiety, chronic leash reactivity, and even a history of fear biting before they become another sad statistic. Our goal will always be to #saveonedog — the dog in front of us. Regardless of their human interaction history, breed, or past transgressions, that one dog deserves a chance to be his or her best self.
what we do
outreach
Our team works with area shelters and rescues to identify dogs dealing with behavioral challenges that may be preventing them from finding their forever homes.
promotion
We use our social media channels to promote the dogs that have been identified and work to find safe landing spaces for them. We'll also do some basic training with them to get the ball rolling.
training
Upon successful placement, new owners may receive a scholarship for a training package tailored to address the dog's specific needs.
follow-up
Our team stays in touch with the owners throughout the life of the dog and provides additional support and resources as needed.

Donations fuel the essentials: medical care, supplies, and safe shelter. And if you’re ready to open your home, fostering or adopting gives a dog the second chance they’ve been waiting for. However you choose to help, you’re making a real, life-changing difference for dogs in need.

walk your dog
Download the free Wooftrax app and select Toby's Pack as your charity to support. Launch the app each time you grab the leash and lace up your shoes. Every walk generates a donation, whether it's a walk around the block or a three-mile hike.
come to our events
A few times a year, we host fundraising events — all with one purpose: to generate money for our scholarship fund. Come hang out with us and meet fellow dog lovers. Can't make it? Tell your friends and family!
