New Blog, Who Dis?

There's a saying often attributed to Albert Einstein that says the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. But I think it's going to work this time! Hear me out...

For those of you keeping score at home, yes, I realize this is like the twenty billionth blog I've started. Is this one going to stick? Maybe yes, maybe no. The only way to tell is to stick around and see.

I stopped blogging on my old site because I knew I was going to have to move to a different platform eventually, and I knew that blog posts didn't export. You had to recreate them manually. I don't know about you, but I just don't have that kind of time. So I just quit writing.

But I missed it, so I started a blog on Substack. I'm not a rocket scientist, but I'm also not a complete doofus. I just couldn't ever get the hang of that place. Was I writing a note or a post? What size were my images supposed to be? Eventually, I just got so disenchanted and frustrated that I stopped writing there as well.

Word on the internetz was that Tumblr was a great place for artists to post, so I gave that a shot for a while. I got zero interaction, except for spammers who weirdly happened to comment with the same exact message, even though they were different people. Wild, right?

So here I am. On my newly crafted site, typing away. It's easy and uncomplicated — just what I was looking for. I just need a place to write a few words and post some images. About what? Well, my drawings for one. Maybe the antics of my crew. Maybe products I like. I don't know. We'll see what shakes out as we go along. In any case, welcome. I hope you enjoy the ride.
